How We Started
Salim Kapadia and Taha Menai, the co-founders of Takumi Cloud, are seasoned professionals enriched with vast knowledge and experience from their tenure at FAANG — the top five American tech giants, in addition to their roles in various small to mid-sized companies. Taha Menai played a pivotal role in establishing the inaugural AWS datacenter, focusing on Infrastructure and Security, and notably spearheaded the red-teaming initiatives for AWS Reinvent. Salim Kapadia, with a strong foundation in software engineering, has always been keen on problem-solving and applying automation wherever feasible. A highlight of Salim's career includes assisting a client in transitioning their 11 datacenters to Google Cloud. Collectively, the duo boasts 40 years of experience across diverse sectors including Healthcare, Finance, Gaming, and B2B, solidifying their foundation for Takumi Cloud.

Why we started Takumi Cloud
The founders observed a common practice among professional services firms: showcasing their top-tier team (the A team) during the pre-sale phase, only to switch to a less experienced group (the C team) for actual project execution. This frequently resulted in clients having to undertake the tasks expected of the consulting partners themselves. Determined to deviate from these conventional tactics, the founders aimed to revolutionize the industry by providing exceptional, white-glove service throughout the entire process.
